At Timebubble Toys we wanted to join the wooden toy revolution, but with a fresh approach.
Our aim is to create contemporary wooden toy kits and models – and so, using our in-house cartoon style, we created the 'Timebubble Toys' brand – great fun to make, learn from, personalise and play with.

Next came our 'Time-Travel Industries' brand for those that have spent more time on Planet Earth
- offering tantalising T-shirts (see more below) and giftware.
With our heads looking to the future whilst also enjoying the present, our Time Travel theme added the extra bubbles we were looking for! Running behind everything is our fictional tale of Time-Travelling Adventures; where you can catch up with professor Walter Pickles and his small band of hopefuls as they desperately try to save the FUTURE that you've not even experienced yet...with one of the last remaining Timebubble Machines.

Why don't you join us?
For you to fulfil ‘Numbers 2 & 3’ above, you are going to need the right T-shirt.
We wanted to offer you a durable, affordable, low carbon footprint
T-shirt made from as much biodegradable material fibres as we could source, with a graphic that gushed good humour and a pinch of imagination.
Timebubble Toys is a true cottage industry, striving to provide a first class service with a low carbon footprint. With the toy market being dominated with rigid plastic and a high percentage destined for landfill at the end of their period of use, It seems ironic that we give these toys to our children and yet it is through the same action that we are continuing to pave a future full of environmental problems. The truth is, that even if we’ve stopped and realised this, as consumers we have very little buying choice. But the tide is turning with large companies such as Lego even considering the use of biodegradable plastics.
In the meantime...we want to help.

Paul Gionis lives with his family and the Timebubble Machine in Suffolk. He still teaches ‘Product Design’ alongside the toy making, and has done for over 24 years; working to inspire the students that he encounters with the self-belief that ‘if you put your mind to it, anything is possible’ – sound familiar? In 2003, Paul was fortunate to be put forward for a BBC Pearson teaching award, and was pleasantly shocked when he received Secondary School Teacher of the Year in the Eastern Region and later shortlisted to the last four for Secondary School Teacher of the Year in England.
Committed to doing what we can to tackle Climate Change, we are delighted to have already worked on a number of sustainability projects with The Essex Book Festival, The Folk East Festival & Flipside UK.
